Every day thousands of tiny babies are threatened by abortion. Their young mothers face overwhelming circumstances along with enormous pressures and fears. They need someone to open their eyes to life’s possibilities. And because we offer ultrasounds right in our offices, we can help young parents see life as God sees it. Over 85% of our clients who see an ultrasound image choose to continue their pregnancy. All of our new moms and dads receive ongoing education and practical support.
What is the Baby Bottle Campaign? It’s informative. When families take home a bottle, they are reminded of our mission and of our commitment to care for “the least of these.” The Network of Life helps men and women see the unseen. We give hope and encouragement and empower young people to make choices for life and for purity in relationship.
...It’s simple. Bottles build a culture of life in your home and place of worship. Families take a bottle home and begin filling it with loose change, cash or a check. Gifts can be given online too. Please fill out the insert in your bottle. These inserts help us to keep in touch or allow you to honor a special person in your life.
...It’s for everyone. The Baby Bottle Campaign enables everyone to participate in a small but meaningful way. Each family member, from the youngest preschooler to the oldest grandparent, can add their contribution to the bottle that saves babies. This year not only can you pick up a physical bottle, there is a virtual campaign at www.ebottle.org.
By the time you have read this, you have had the opportunity to pick up your family’s baby bottle at church on Sunday, September 11. If you did not, please reach out to the church office, 412-371-2307, or to Dolly Patterson, epatterson391@ymail.com, and we will try to get you or your family a bottle. Filled bottles should be returned to the church on Sunday, October 2 to the collection boxes at the Tower and Narthex entrances of the Main Building and the Main Entrance of the Barclay Building.
At their banquet, which was held on Thursday, September 15, they will have celebrated 7,000 babies’ lives saved. Being a part of Women’s Choice Network as a church liaison has shown me many opportunities they have to offer to churches. Please go to mypregnancycenter.org/about-us to find speakers, tools and other interesting information regarding this ministry.
