The youth group on Wednesday got off to a great start. We had a number of JR and SR high students attend—fire on the patio with s’mores, a few games and a good lesson. There is still room to get started. Hope to see the students on Wednesday.
The JR/SR High and Parents Gym Night was a lot of fun. We played Knock Out; Cus’um; handball and two circle games, Birdie on the Perch and Cat and Rat. We had lots of sweat, a double fat lip, laughter and community building taking place. Remember, other adults in your teen’s life are an important part of their spiritual growth and wellbeing. Our next event is on October 8 at 7:00 PM in the Barclay Building. It’s a pumpkin carving contest led by Brendan Conaway. You will need to sign up, hebrononline.org/students/upcoming-events, so don’t miss it.
