All Moms Ministry Update

 By: All Moms Leadership Team

This fall has passed quickly and along with it, the fall semester of All Moms is drawing to a close! We have had 5 meetings (the last will take place Dec. 6th in the form of a Christmas party with a focus on Hope) located in Fellowship Hall. We have a total of 30 women registered, with attendance averaging 17 women, some of whom do not attend Hebron. Over these 5 meetings we have had speakers on various topics (encouragement, control, “Be the Parent”) and have also done an article review. One of the meetings was a fun night of crafting and making apple dumplings to take home to their families! We were able to host a FREE pumpkin patch for the group and their families, including a hay ride, a bonfire, snacks and pumpkins for the kiddos! As a service project, we had a clothing/toiletries drive to benefit domestic violence victims in the month of October.

But more importantly than that which is measurable, is surely that which is not. Over these impactful meetings, our ministry of young moms has grown in relationship, and our leadership team has been able to pour Christ’s love into these women by centering on the Gospel. The outreach arm of this ministry has brought women from all over the local area, including a young woman from Crafton. In addition to our Tuesday night meetings (held on the first and third Tuesday of the month) one of our mentor moms, Kelly Knapp, hosts Coffee Chats in her home three times a semester. These Coffee Chats have been well attended by these moms for more intimate connections and deep conversation that all comes back to pointing these ladies back to the truth of the Gospel.

Plans to kick off the spring semester at the beginning of February 2023 are underway! We thank you for your support and ask for your continued prayers for this thriving church ministry as we continue to touch moms and their families.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you all!
