January and February have been amazing months! The youth are back and in full swing! This year two new components started. Large group now incorporates a time of song and a small lesson before leading into small groups. It has been a joy to watch the young people embrace their individual style of worship, prayer, and Scripture reading.
Passion Hour has added professional instruction. The youth leaned in to what they were being taught. The photography club snapped pictures and learned words specific to photography. If you see Kiera or Lucas walking around ask them a question or two. Jonathan worked with paints and made an interpretation of what Gabriel the angel may look like. We look forward to having the professionals return.
Our Semester FOCUS: All things Jesus. The youth are learning His character and the way He taught Sunday School. They are learning what it means to worship Him, share Him with others in Youth Group and how to be like Him in small group!
It will not be much longer before our 12TH graders will be graduating High School and leaving for college, and the 5th graders from KIDZ Ministry will be joining us. We look forward to these times of celebration for our youth!
