We are thankful for the opportunity to partner-with-parents, and Family Night Lights is one way that we get to do this. Family Night Lights is an opportunity for kidz to bring their parents into “their space” to have some fun, sing praises and learn about Jesus together in a relevant and engaging way.
Families entered the Barclay and were given hats that glowed underneath the black lights and glow sticks, of course! When the gym doors opened families were greeted with games to play underneath the black lights; things like scooter races, 4 square, tic-tac-toe and more! There was fun and laughter as families won tickets for a grand prize to be drawn later in the night! Miss Amy led us in singing praises to God with special help from Mackenzie Rice, Julius Scott and Drew Tomashewski.
Ben Hershman served as our host and reminded us that everyone is worthy of our care, kindness and compassion.
Nick Paradise served as our storyteller and brought to life the beginning of Jesus’ ministry when Jesus went to the Synagogue in Nazareth and read the passage from Isaiah about the promised Messiah. We ended the night with delicious cupcakes lovingly baked by Cristina Longwill.
Thank you to everyone who gave so generously of their time and talents to provide a great place for families to gather together – All to the Praise of His Glory. If you weren’t able to make it, you’re invited to Easter Jam on Saturday, April 9th! Details to follow!

From time to time, inside the Praise Pack kidz will find a coloring sheet, a word search with words that they will hear during the service or a maze!
Prizes are available from Mrs. Ellen – kidz bring their completed bingo, art or sermon page – or something completed from their Praise Pack!

“Get In the Middle of It” Graduation Milestone Event
Parents of 5th Graders –
Your family is invited to join us for an end of year celebration of laughter and encouragement as we celebrate what God has done in the lives of our outgoing 5th graders and what He will do as they move into middle school.
