From the Desk of Hebron U

by Kara Pennybaker

The Hebron Youth Department has been on the move!

Thank you to the members of Hebron Church who provided so much candy! The students played dizzy bat candy, had hot chocolate and apple cider. It was a wonderful party.  Talia Russell from our high school juniors group won best-carved pumpkin. We will have to put her up against Brendan Conaway and see who wins! Prayerfully this served as a wonderful alternative to Halloween.

In November, our Middle School boys started a food gathering project as their monthly service project.  They invited the entire church to be a part of it. The Kidz Ministry alone collected over 591 items! The Women’s Ministry collected, as did the W.Y.L.D boys of Hebron U.

On November 20th, 2021 the boys will distribute basics to families in need. Thank you to everyone who donated.

Last, but not least, Laurelville. The trip to Laurelville was amazing. The Middle School students were able to experience fun in the sun, as well as in mud. The children had time in worship, Bible study, and lessons. Everything geared toward understanding the world was made originally by God and it was good! We as people were made to co-labor with God in helping the earth stay good. Once sin came in the world, ugly things came into the world. However, we still have a part to co-labor with God in making things good.

Hebron U high school students will attend Laurelville December 3rd-5th.

When I come to your mind, or the youth of Hebron U, continue to pray for the health of our children and adults. Pray for our seniors, as this is their last year in school and they are making major life decisions.
