Ethnos 360

by Barbara Baesel

Dave and Fran Jordan have been missionaries in Prai, Thailand for over 30 years.  Dave has developed a Prai written language and led the translation of the Bible into the Prai language.  Together he and Fran raised four children and planted churches in several communities, written Bible Studies, and trained leaders.

We recently received the following email:

Dear Friends at Hebron,

Thank you again so much for your help to us out here through all the years. Just a reminder to you that you were the first ones to support us. Back when we were in missionary training you were already supporting us. Thanks so much for being patient with us through so many years. There is a lot here that we can still do but the major building blocks have been laid. The church does have what it needs to go on and continue sharing the Gospel with the rest of the Prai people. Between now and the end of March there will be two monumental activities for the Prai church. The first will be the presentation of the Prai Bible to them. The second will be the appointment and dedication of the first group of elders who will shepherd the church. Both are exciting steps forward. Thanks again for your part in it all.

As a follow up:  On March 1st the Prai Bible will be celebrated and dedicated.

Note:  The Jordans will be on leave in Pittsburgh late April through June.  Look for a future announcement when they will be visiting here at Hebron.
