MIDVILLE VILLAGE Protection was
sought from guardian spirits at the village temple after 15 deaths
occurred. The village became webbed in a net of string as string was run
from the temple spirit house down and around streets to encircle each of
the almost 200 houses in our village – except the houses of the Christians.
Looking from outside it seems so empty and pointless - but this is what folks are left to hope in
without God.
PETE RIVER VILLAGE
Pray for Butte as he testified at the Knife Creek Sunday service
how he arranged a ceremony in his village to withdraw from serving the
spirits, and also another ceremony to withdraw from providing spirit protection
at cremations.
SANDY CREEK VILLAGE Over 40 come for
teaching. Some asked for two sessions a week instead of one. Grounding a group
this size firmly in the Gospel is a lot of work. God is prompting
believers in Knife Creek and our village to make the hour plus trip to Sandy
Creek to teach and encourage. Please water these efforts with your
prayers.
The Jordans finish their letter: We praise God for continuing his
work among the Prai people and drawing more to himself. And how thankful
we are for the prayers of many of you who are having a significant part in all
this!
Dave & Fran have been working with the Prai in Thailand for
over 35 years. Dave is nearing the completion of translating scripture into the
Prai language and Fran continues to teach in their village. God has truly
called them to this ministry and they have been faithful to His call.
