From the Desk of Hebron Uth!
This semester is going well as we are looking forward to spring. As we remark in the beauty of the buddings of spring, I always come to a place of pause. This is the season we celebrate the death and resurrection of Jesus. The winter is dark, cold, and most living things look dead. During the crucifixion the earth grew dark, hope dwindled. What seemed reality, changed in a moment. Christ rose with all power. For me winter feels the same way. It can be 20 degrees with a 7-inch snow storm, but in a moment the sun is shining and the season is changing. From “death to life” is a message that has kept me grounded through life. I want to give you the same encouragement, when it seems dark, and lacks hope, remember spring is budding and power is coming!
Group Days!
In March the Youth Department went cosmic bowling for our group day. We look forward to the fellowship with our youth. We love having bible study, and Sunday school, and we also understand the necessity of getting to know our youth, by spending time with them in social settings. We love how we get to see their personalities glean in these moments. Keep an eye out in eNews for group days which happen every third weekend of the month! Send your children, as a building block for growing relationships.
