Hello!!! I am taking this opportunity to share a couple quick updates on our progress and plans!
As you can see here, we now have a logo and we have a website!! Please be patient as we add content - but you can find us at: HebronCC.org and on Facebook @HCCpgh. Hopefully you will begin to see this image more often and consider praying for this ministry when you do.
Our inaugural event - the ‘Trunk or Treat’ - was an encouragement and was made successful by the support and prayers of many. We had several businesses make donations, had between 17-20 trunks - individuals, families, and organizations - and a ballpark 170-200 persons attend!!!
We are in the planning stage for our next event - a Community New Year’s Eve Event!!! Keep your eyes and ears open for more information as this event takes shape. Also please pray for the many aspects that have to be attended to for this event to be a success!
You may be curious about the ministry as a whole. Are we just big community events? The answer is no. We are in the process of working out what all we will be able to offer, when, how, etc.
We intend for the HCC to engage the community largely in 3 different ways: events (Trunk or Treat, NYE), activities (neighborhood clean-ups, community exercise groups, etc.), and programs (community computer partnership, sports leagues, regular Bible/discussion groups, after school activities, etc.).
