I would like to introduce a new program we are starting here at Hebron, The Christian Discipleship Institute (CDI).
The purpose of CDI is to expose believers to the biblical and theological background necessary for discipleship, ministry and Christian leadership, and to put that knowledge into practice. This training program involves a long-term commitment of time, energy, and finances, and will strengthen lay leadership in various ministry areas.
The core of the program involves completing ten six-week courses. The course work focuses on biblical study and application, Christian discipleship, basic theology, and developing ministry skills and will be taught by qualified clergy and educators.
Each CDI group will consist of between eight to ten people who will learn and work together for an extended period of time, sharpening their ability to reach our community with the love of God. We are aiming at starting the first round of CDI the first week or so of May 2021.
There are, of course, many other details which would concern anyone interested in becoming involved in this opportunity, and we would welcome your call. Please contact me (724-622-1283/pastorknapp@hotmail.com) if you have any questions, concerns, or ideas. Applications will be accepted on a first-come-first-serve basis as space is limited.
May God bless and empower us for His name’s sake and His glory!
