What Is the Mobilizaton Team at Hebron?

 by Janie Mason

“As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace … by the strength that God supplies – in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ.” I Peter 4:10-11

The vision of Hebron Church is “that God will use Hebron to show Himself to the world.” We “encourage God’s people at Hebron to grow beyond the bounds of our congregation with the love of Christ.” That is the niche of the Mobilization Team.

How do we do that? We work to “passionately spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ by supporting our missionaries and their missions – through financial support, involvement of the congregation, and reporting to the congregation stories from the mission experience.” We promote opportunities to serve as Jesus’ hands and feet to a hurting world. Our missions support those who are, in various ways, “the least, the last, and the lost”.

Click on ABOUT US then MISSIONS on our church website, hebrononline.org, to learn about the missions we support and to find links to their websites. The Mobilization articles in The Herald always share ways you can be involved in the ministries.

As we read The Herald editions, we pick up on lots of ways that we might use our gifts to serve one another, in love, as good stewards of God’s gifts, as Doug preached in his recent sermon. Possibly the Holy Spirit has given you a desire to serve Him by serving others through Hebron missions -- out of love for Christ Who suffered on the Cross out of love for us.
